Display: Dr Seuss Day Display

Dr Seuss Day Display

Dr Seuss Day is celebrated on the 2nd March each year. While in the USA this day is celebrated as Read Across America Day, the 2nd of March marks Dr Seuss’s birthday. Wherever you are from or which ever event you choose it celebrate, it is the perfect opportunity to promote the wonderful written creations of the very clever Dr Seuss.

Random House’s Suessville Website provides heaps of inspiration, activity ideas, and free printable resources.

This display was created using the font Grinched for the READ lettering, a giant Cat in the Hat using an image from the Suessville website enlarged and printed, book outlines printed on coloured paper and a few simple posters. Fortunately, our library has a large collection of Dr Seuss books which was used to continually restock this display.
